Yosemite Pine Mountain Hideaway (king bed)

The Green Hideaway is located approximately 25 miles from Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat Entrance (Highway 120) within the gated Pine Mountain Lake community of Groveland, CA. Community amenities include a scenic lake with multiple beaches, a seasonal swimming pool, golf course and clubhouse restaurant, archery range, kayaking, tennis, pickleball, and more. The home features two decks—front and back—surrounded by pine forest and mature oaks, creating a peaceful treehouse-like atmosphere. The front deck, accessed through sliding glass doors off the living room, is ideal for morning coffee or an evening nightcap. Inside, exposed beams, vaulted wood ceilings, and a wood-burning stove in the living room add classic cabin charm. Central heating and air conditioning, along with ceiling fans and portable fans, provide year-round comfort. Kitchen & Living Spaces The fully stocked kitchen is ready for home-cooked meals and includes an electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator, along with ample cookware, utensils, and tableware. Additional appliances include a Keurig, 6-cup coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and blender. Coffee and tea starter packs are provided (heavy users should plan to bring extra supplies). Smart TVs are available in the living room and master bedroom, and guests may log into their own streaming accounts. Board games, puzzles, cards, and books are also available for your enjoyment. Outdoor Space The back deck, just off the dining room, features a propane gas fire table, string lights, and a propane BBQ grill—perfect for relaxing evenings outdoors. A hammock is also available for guest use, and may be stored in the guest-accessible storage area during inclement weather. Important note: The property does not have a wood-burning fire pit. The only outdoor fire feature available is the propane gas fire table, and outdoor wood fires are not permitted at any time due to county and community regulations. Bedrooms & Bathrooms The master suite features a California King bed with a memory foam mattress, cozy bedding, a work-from-home desk, and an en-suite bathroom. The family bedroom includes twin bunk beds plus an additional twin bed. The home sleeps up to 5 guests; air mattresses may be considered with host pre-approval. We offer a selection of bed pillows; some synthetic and some natural down with zippered cases. Duvets may contain natural down or synthetic down with cotton cover and/or quilts. Both bathrooms include shower-over-tub setups with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup towels, and beach towels are provided. A full-size washer and dryer are available in the laundry room with a starter supply of detergent. Accessibility & Family Notes The home is not suitable for guests with limited mobility due to multiple staircases (21 steps from driveway to front door and additional interior/exterior stairs). Families are welcome, but the home is not childproof and does not have a fenced yard. Community & Parking This home is located in the gated Pine Mountain Lake community. A guest vehicle permit fee of $50 per vehicle (subject to change) is required and paid at the gate upon arrival. The permit is valid for up to 7 days. The security entrance is staffed 24 hours a day. Please pay the attendant upon your arrival. This is a community policy and out of our control. Thanks in advance! Parking on the property is limited to 2 vehicles maximum. The driveway is short but very steep. Access to the property off the main paved road is via 15 yards on an asphalt frontage road to the driveway. Low-clearance vehicles, trailers, RVs, and vehicles towing trailers cannot be accommodated. In winter, AWD/4WD and/or chains may be required. No compensation will be given for temporary outage of internet or electricity (PG&E has the authority to turn off power during what they deem as High Fire Danger), gas, water, cable, or internet. The operation and maintenance of these utilities are out of our control. We will attempt to repair or replace anything that is inoperable as quickly as possible.
